- Eva Peron, an illegitimate child raised in poverty, became an actress and later the wife of President Peron of Argentina. She was the champion of the poor and lower classes in Argentina and stood up for women and their significance in politics. Eva Paron was the inspiration for the musical ‘Evita’. She died at the age of 33 years in 1952.
